Gutter whitening

Ok I am curious what the process is to do this. One way I did this was to just simply pressure was the gutters the same way we did the house. Spray it with clorox, scrub it with a brush to loosen the dirt, and then spray with the pressure washer. But I have seen the equip they sell here and it looks pretty cool and maybe easier? Let me know! Thanks!

I bought a 30’ ettore pole from here with this brush. I use gutter grenade. Brush on about 10’ then powerwash it off. If you have your gear set up to softwash, depending on your gpm, you should be able to rinse them without ever touching a ladder

Jay we carry Gutter Grenade and Gutter Zap it can be found here:

and here is a little video we took years ago… thats shows you basically how its done…

Thanks Chris! Looks so easy that way!

i’ll try gutter granade too, thanks. Do you ever get those really stained gutters? Does it work on that too, or is there a time to say when?
When do you charge for gutters? always, or just when it’s bad?
.

We use gutter grenade. Started out using gutter zap, which works amazing, but then switched after I had the paint peal off 5 feet of someones gutter!

It freaked me out so now we use gutter grenade. Seems like we have to scrub a little harder, but it also seems safer on the anodized aluminum.

Gutter grenade is wonderful. As a pw’er I’ve used them all. I’ve used gutter grenade for the past 3 yrs and won’t use anything else

ARCPW Alex, I tried gutter grenade once and the results were very sub-par. Could it have been a bad batch or maybe it sat in my garage too long before use? Could temp been a factor? I think it was 55-60 degrees when I tried it.

I’ve read lots of people talk about temps below 60 not working well. So the one time that I had to whiten in those temps, I went in the house and filled my bucket with hot water. Ripped through it fine.

I think this was probably the job because there wasnt any leaves on the trees

A lot of factors come into gutters. Sometimes they are not going to come clean or as clean as you thought they would. Sometimes it could be the mix was not strong enough. If you have hot water use it in the color temps. Anything below 55 with cold water and cold aluminum isn’t going to work that well.

I bet it was the temp that was the problem

Edited link. The other one was way too expensive. This is the correct product.

Thanks! You da man!

We’ve had success using Sprayway and magic erasers.
