Had cold feet but finally went out tonight!

9:30-lunch has been my best time. 6 months ago i was exactly where you are afraid to approach people. You will run into some rude people and 9 out of 10 will tell you threy have someone or they clean themselves,but look at it from a salesman’s point of veiw the more people you talk to the more likely you are to get one. Most of the ones I’ve landed have called me weeks after i dropped a card off.

What should I say when I call back? I was thinking “I stopped by your store the other day and I wanted to run a quote by you” something like that, what do you think?

I don’t have cards yet, but I do have flyers so I started of with those. You’re right though, I ran into some rude people yesterday but I think it’s because they were in a rush to close up shop. I hope I get some phone calls like you did. Thanks for the input!

Yeah that sounds fine. I usually say, “Hi, this is Daniel from Wyoming valley window washing. I left a quote for window cleaning the other day and wanted to see if your manager has had a chance to review it.”

Glad to hear you get over the fear of walking in to the place and pitching. Just remember

“Every place you don’t go in YOU DONT GET”

While you didn’t close the deal YET on those stores you never know what comes up down the road from those you hit today.
