Good Deal!!
This system has REALLY speed up my interior work.
Its it PERFECT? no.
Does it have a slight learning curve?? YES
Right now i am doing 90% of a rezzy interior job with this system.
I will have it at 95-96% by weeks end.
There will always be a glass that needs to be hand cleaned due to boogers and build up.
But with the time i save its a none issue.
I did run into a slight head scratcher today.
Using the unger micro fiber pad, a couple of windows (NOT consecutive) were leaving FOAMING/bubbling residue behind.
Hmm I am using just R/Oā¦
After speaking with the owners it seems they cleaned their windows a while back with of all things⦠DISH SOAP!!! Heaven Forbid!!!
So the foaming turned out to be residual dish soap from when they cleaned their windows.
Just used a micro fiber rag on those windows.
Hope you have the same GREAT results with this system that i am having!!!

Remind again John Lee which pad you are referring toas āthe bombā. the fluffy microfiber or the microswipe (thin) pad?
Beautiful View
Also there are two thin pads polishing and cleaning pads . Iāve been using the cleaning pads are those the ones yur using john?
Is there a good video demonstrating this system?
In my experience, the thins ones do the heavy lifting. Use then after the fluffy one.
Use the cleaning pad. It is the best. This is a older video before the new cleaning pad but it shows how it works. Also I quit using Ecover when the new pad came outUnger indoor kit - YouTube
Second that on the cleaning pad
I was using the wash pad on rezzy but since I got the cleaning pad things have been fab-u-lus

Thanks guys! John are you using alcohol and di or just di. I washed my pads in Laundry detergent I should of called ya and asked.
Then I went and bought this stuff to use BLACKFIRE Microfiber Cleaner & Restorer 64 oz. I havenāt used it yet I guess
ill see .
Ahhhā¦I havenāt tried the NEW cleaning pad. That 'polishing pad does a decent job but hugs the glass too much. sounds like the new one has better glide.
Way way better glide.
The polish pad is like super glue compared to the cleaning pad

I just did the interior of a skylight that I could not have done without the unger Indoor cleaning kit. No way to safely get a ladder in the Master bedroom shower. The skylight was pretty bad and I did not have high hopes of it getting real clean. I used the fluffy pad with sprayway and followed up with 2 microfiber with a light spray of sprayway. This was in full sun at noon at 80 degrees. Wow did it come clean. I could not have cleaned it better with any other method. Oh and the real great thing is no climbing up into a 100 + degree skylight well.
Today I ran into the same situation A skylight in a master bath, I used the same concept Microfiber and an ext pole with pure water and alcohol. It came out great, the funny thing was I didnt think 2 twice about do it. The customer commented that they have had 2 other window cleanesr that never even touch the skylight and she was so happy to finally find someone who does what they said they would do. So she scheduled out her next 2 cleaning on the spot, + the added bonus she paid 24% more as a bonus for a job well Done she said.
Wow, I have been playing with these pads and they are the bomb and a half! Two questions: What ratio alcohol to pure water? And Iām thinking of adding an over the top sprayer and saving bringing the pole down as often. Do the pads get dirty and have to be change often enough anyway?

Not sure if the over the top sprayer would work . John says u need to just
Spritz the pad with a little solution an let the pad do the work . Not sure the ratio
I did 50/50 now Iām using 25 alcohol 75 water
gotcha, thanks.

I just washed my pads in my washing machine by themselves with only hot water.
They didnāt come clean. Is there something different I should be doing?
I wish Unger (and other manufacturers) enclosed more directions on use/care.
We are using 1/4 cup denatured alcohol per gallon of pure water.
I. Washed mine also in hot water and the staining didnāt come out completely either however it has not affected thier cleaning capabilities

After a year you should see mine. The light green was a poor choice. But they work great stained.
I use just r/o water.
I would think that adding alcohol to the mix is just " something else" add to the mix
Iām sure itās added to aid in drying but if the window is too wet your using too much water
