It looks way better than using a rope on a roof, you could tie it off in one spot and move freely without having to adjust your rope. and if you fall it will lock and save you.
That looks great for a easy-moderate pitch, thanks for the link. I think I would want a rope and harness for the steep ones, though, just to have that security before it came to falling
We have one, and it works well for some applications. There is a clamp on anchor for standing seam metal roofs, but its heavy, and you have to get it up there; not great for real quick trips. Works very well for overhead applications like ledgework.
yeah they make them up to 100’ too. I just looked at the pricing though and a 100’ one is about $1500

Is there any kind of fall protection that you can clamp onto a window frame as you’re on a ladder at each window? It seems like a fall would likely rip out the window, but maybe it wouldn’t.
