Welp, I’m new to this forum and was told I should introduce myself ! So here goes !
My Name is Joe aka YoCrypes, and I’m 32 years young… I live in New York with my wife and two kids, and I currently own an exterior cleaning business here, and I also help run another operation, which gives me a really big shop and lots of land to utilize (lol)… im into fitness and strength training activities, I used to enjoy competitive fighting when I was young, as well as other forms of self defense and survival preparation and training… I hunt, drive rigs and like to live the outdoor life… I’ve been in business for maybe a little more than 3 years or so… I started out doing flat work with a small machine and grew into a decent little operation… made allot of money with a homeowner machine lol… then I decided to look into some of the stuff my friend was doing with his business; house washes, roof cleaning etc… so i joined the PWRA (which from what i understand is a sister forum to THIS place) and boy did I realize, I didnt know much about pressure washing. Definitely not as much as I THOUGHT I knew (which is ok, we all start somewhere)… being new there it was hard to understand certain things at first, so like any newb I created a topic to get some conversation rolling. I Quickly realized it was different than allot of other forums (which is ok), because some of the guys there have a certain stance towards newbies who drag around a small machine and dont know much, coming into their undustry… I tried not to let it bother me much, I just dished out polite insults and always gave it back when it was dished my way, tit for tat!! At first it gave me a bad taste in my mouth but the forum is awsome, and some of the people who have been there for a while were very nice and gave me some advice and helped me kind of adjust to what it’s like there… guys like @Infinity and Jordie, and a couple others, so I just tried to deal with it in whatever way I was able to at whichever moment… throughout the summer I made huge progress, buying new equipment and putting thousands upon thousands into my business, and pretty much all thanks to searching through that forum and directly contacting some REALLY cool people, that were always willing to help me out (thank you)… fast forward a few more months, and almost 7 days of read time later; and I was still being hated on by the same TWO people over there at the pwra, and even some of their little friends. I reported some of the guys comments because that’s what admin told me to do everytime so it could be brought to their attention… long story short they removed his comments because he was being a douche and stirring up stuff… so being the extremely self absorbed narcissist this guy is (being in business only 18 months himself, with a whopping 130 likes on his Facebook page) he announces to a few people on the forum that hes leaving the forum, because he doesn’t like me and admin wont kick me (because obviously they didnt have a reason to) and then goes to YouTube and literally cried for 13 minutes about how I’m this awful person, and basically says a bunch of stuff about me that isnt entirely true at all (first time on the internet? First forum?) But talks so highly of himself as he accuses me of being high on myself lol… he talks about an established youtuber as “sharing a town with him” and how he lives in his town, and how hes had dinner with Jordie (probably at the convention😂) it becomes evident while watching it, that someones very high on themselves and needs to smoke another one… However apparently, he got his way because my account over there is “suspended” (which is fine if that’s what the admin thinks needs to happen) any who, I’m shutting down a couple weeks early this year, and REALLY kicking my window operation into high gear. So that’s why I’m moving over here to this forum… there seems to be allot of activity here at this one, and, I want to grow my route, learn how to use better tools, and learn which things to buy not buy, or do etc… so it looks like for now I will just take up residence here and read and learn and focus on my business and developing an amazing window operation, to go hand in hand with my pressure washing business next spring… I love doing windows it’s very satisfying work, I’ve been doing them for a few months only tho, so I have lots to learn… right now I mainly do commercial store front. Lots of pizzerias bakerys and a couple resi jobs here and there. I HAVE QUESTIONS THO STILL ! I’m gonna get my read time up so I dont look like a fool if I need actual help from some of you fine people… 99% of the time I am making friends not enemy’s, and I’m rarely looking to start stuff (unless you are messing with ME)… that being said; cheers, heres to bettering ourselves as businessmen and women and making friends !
