Hello from central Indiana

Hello all,

I’m new to WCR and am presently getting geared up to start a window cleaning business. I’m not totally new to the business - I had a window cleaning service in the 90’s and sold it in 1999. Now I have my commercial janitorial service at a place where I have more time and ready to make some more money!

I’ve always centered all my businesses around quality / higher price (never felt the need to compete with lowballers). However, I’ve learned through this forum and other websites that my average gross per hour for window cleaning in the 90’s was on the low-end (roughly $45.00 per hour). So I’m really thankful for this forum and the input I’ve received so far, and I look forward to getting some more education from you all, and returning that wisdom to other new-comers in the future.

Brian

Welcome Brian!

Hi Brian

Welcome Brian,

I can help you with any supplies that you might need.

Oh no!
Welcome Brian, I’m a fishers man myself :stuck_out_tongue:
Plenty of windows to go around though, mucho money floating around in Hamilton County.

Good luck

Hi Brian, welcome…:)you’ll learn a lot here, I sure did, and I’ve been at this for 10 years:rolleyes:. How come you sold your wc biz if you dont mind me asking?

Hi Sharen,

I had a lot going on at the time with multiple businesses, and I was going night and day. I was pulling 24+ hour shifts frequently, and at the time there wasn’t a Starbucks in Indiana  I chose to go with the more “routine” work in my commercial janitorial business. Now I’m in a more hands-off position with that business and ready to branch out again.

Thanks for asking!
