I started my company In & Out Window Washing, LLC last year (2011) after working in construction business for over 12 years. I was pretty happy there, and money was good to. Then i married a beautiful women, and so it happens, that her dad have a side window cleaning business for last 33 years (full time teacher). Business is great and he wants to slow down and enjoy future retirement, maybe wash some windows sometimes for exercise. So i came in to the play.
He was doing only residential. I’m trying to break in to commercial. I’m also doing power washing and clean gutters. I can’t even tell, how many hours i spend reading this forum. I found so much great stuff here. Introduce some new equipment to my in-law, but it’s like teaching old dog new trick.
Thank you for all the help so far and I know I’ll be here for a long time
I wonder it there is anybody here from central Va area?
Welcome Lucas. Sounds like you stepped into a ready made business. Glad to hear that. I think overall you will find residential more profitable. I do a few commercial and storefronts, but I have never been out there looking for it. I concentrate on res and commercial just comes along sometimes. Anyway, good luck and welcome.
