Help on pricing store-fronts in Fredericksburg, Richmond Va area

I know…I live in Quebec Canada. But right now i’m on vacation in Virginia visiting friends… I was wondering what is the pricing per windows in the Fredericksburg area… I’d like to compare it to my pricing to see if I need to readjust a little bit. in my area i usually charge around 1.00$-1.50$ per window, sometimes i even do some at 0.75$ a window…

If your around the virginia area, how much do you usually charge?

We are north of you but in Delaware you can get those numbers. Theirs cheap guys everywhere so you can also get less if you’re so inclined! Lol…

I’m in Richmond. I don’t even price storefronts anymore, they go for so little. Recently i lost one to about .6$ a window. I have few, but that because i know people, or i do owner house. I see a lot of companies doing storefronts here, so maybe prices r higher, i just got low balled few times

Yeah I have some companies in my area that bid so low they just don’t make any money…they just want to get all the contract.

I’m a little surprised that you don’t bid more than me, because the cost of living seems to be around 2X higher than where we live…
So what are you doing to keep you alive…a ton of accounts or you switched to residential??

So scratsi, how many storefronts are you doing on weekly or monthly basis?

About 150 accounts on weekly basis… Lots of tiny store-fronts… We don’t have big surface stores in my area… I also develloped a lot in residential cleaning. How about you?

I do about 3-4 days a week storefront route work (Lots of tiny store-fronts like you)

I am hoping to get up to 5-6 days a week.

If you are close to the nations capotol you can definately go towards the higher side as far as pricing.

maybe it’s just me… but I won’t get out of bed for less than $2.50 per pane (outside only)! might be different here in California, but I have customers that came to me because they got estimates that were closer to 7 dollars a pane outside only.
