Help With a Lift

Need some help choosing a lift. I have a residential job that has windows at the top of a tower about 32 feet high with a staircase abt 4 feet wide spiraling along the walls. These were never cleaned from the inside and have stickers and paint from construction. Stairs are too narrow for ladder and angle from floor is too wide. I need to get them with a lift. There is a chandelier hanging in the middle so need something small but a vertical bucket lift wont get me close enough to the windows. (need to go up then out over the steps) Any suggestions?

Hey @Infinity where are those pics or videos of you doing a job just like this!

“Sectionals”

Humm, you can take some 2x4’s, plywood, decking screws, and build a nice little platform to work on. Otherwise, sounds like the builder was a graduate of the cranial rectal inversion institute.

Boy, setting up sectionals on a spiral staircase is not for the faint of heart. I wouldn’t recommend it for the uninitiated. But it does sound like the best/simplest solution for this situation.

But here’s my YouTube channel, for some inspiration, @mercurymiami

I’m am going to post pics. I do use sectionals but the angle will be very tight because the stairs are pretty narrow. I’m not willing to risk that.

I’m not really getting how you would fit a lift in there if a ladder won’t fit.
Might have to get some scaffolding experts in to set something up, won’t be cheap but sometimes you have gotta do what you gotta do.

She really wants them done and is willing to pay. I will say no if I cant find a way.

I hear ya … no shame saying no if it’s out of control, An it sure sounds like it is.

There is always a way if they are willing to pay imo.
Once you clean it once with the scaffold then inform her if she wants to keep it clean and not have to pay for the scaffold every time you would need to come quarterly (minimum), and you could just use indoor pads on a pole.

EZPZ

This is taken abt halfway up the stairwell. the stairs are abt 3 ft wide.

I find this pic does not help at all.
We need to see what space is available , angles and such.
