Help with commercial windows pricing

I hate to ask but would rather be a little high than low when it comes to this:
Info: wants 1-2 times a year; one with in and out service
92-6’ panes.
I’ll try to add a few photos to help. the first image is me pointing to the steak I made on the interior glass

I was thinking ~$2 per pane per side…~$375

That sounds about right. Add a dollar per pane for the ones where there is stuff in front though. My experience is that even if you tell the customer to move the displays, they may wait till the last minute and cost you time, they may not move them out enough so you still have to move it or work in a tight space, etc. That may be area specific so I will be interested in what others say.

thank you. That was my biggest concern as there is stuff in front of EVERY window and some of the clothing racks have been screwed into the concrete floor.

After the 1st clean you could use a pad on the inside and then just clean like normal every 3 or 6 months depending environmental factors. I hope they understand that the clothes may be shifted around a bit.

great thought on the pads. I usually save them for high and tight spaces inside homes. :+1:

Sounds about right, give or take. Hope you land it, recurring jobs are what’s so great about this business. Not sure of your area, but you do look to run into some stuff in your way on the interior. If they can’t move it before you come, that would make things difficult-- and more costly.

Good luck, good idea about the pads–

he said it was “WAY TOO HIGH, I’ll do them myself.” Life moves on and keeps getting better.

I didn’t realize it was only once a year on the inside. I think I would charge $6-8 pane then because in my mind it is commercial timeframes but store front traffic so they will be very dirty each time, and all that stuff you have to work around really brings up the price. At that frequency I may skip the pad and go straight to squeegee, but that depends on how dirty they are.
