Hole in hose

What’s the best stuff or thing to use to fix this. New hose it’s right in the middle of a 300’ hose

Glue /tape ?

Dam man This sux. Don’t hae anything on board.

Worst comes to worst, you could cut the hose on either side of the hole and re-connect it with a quick fitting.

That’s obviously a more permanent solution, as tape and glue will wear over time. The only real concern would be if the connection would get snagged on something - but even then, it wouldn’t be difficult to simply reattach it.

EDIT: Just noticed the hose you’re talking about is 3/8", not 5/16". Still, there are fittings you can find for that.

Thanks !!’ I just ordered those. Didn’t think they had those for 3/8”

In a pinch Flex Seal till a more permanent solution can be done.

Do you have a link , or know what it’s called ?

If you end up using them, let us know how it works out.

But yeah, I didn’t even think of Flex Tape.

Wonder if you could add the tape on top to decrease snags/disconnects?
