Hopefully not your employee

I’m not sure if the guy in the background is scrubbing a window or if the right side of the monkey bars broke. This might be why work-comp rates are so high. What a view in the background.

thats an awesome pic! kudos to that guy if his neck isnt broken haha crazy…

He looka lika monkey !

I would never expect any of my employees to do that. Back in the day I probably would have done it myself though!

I’m quite impressed with his athleticism! He does whatever it takes to get the job done, well done!

That’s thinking outside the OSHA box…

They got extention poles in Illinois?

I think that would be like a 30,000 fine in the UK for the company owner.

What’s so retarded about this image is if you look below the guy you can see they are on a customers deck. A simple 4ft/6ft step ladder would have resolved this violation.

+1 Make a trip to the truck already. I would have fired a guy. Ladders are like any other tool. Use it the way it should be used. I had a guy once that dipped skaol and spit a lot. That got him canned. hehe, “skoal” “canned” that was cool… Irrelavent to the conversation, except for the fact that the window monkey, in the pic, looks just like him.

Safety is your friend…

“because glass looks it’s best when you can’t see it”

That pic could be used as a great marketing piece as to why you should hire professionals who have been trained correctly vs. this workers comp claim waiting to happen…if the company had workers comp.

He probably was cleaning the gutters, hopped down to the top of the ladder, cleaned that wedge shaped window, slipped through the wrungs to clean the casement. One ladderset. Brilliant! Time is money! (death before downtime!)

Now your just showing off…

j/k good idea Damian

One of my pt guys did a firemans slide, (not sure if thats the correct term) down a 32 ft ladder on a commercial job…where your feet slide down the sides instead of climbing down the ladder… he thought it would save time …never thought to tell employees NOT to do that…

bet that looked cool !

hate to admit it :o but it did…
