Hose reel adapter

Hi there

I’m going to confess, i’m gonna ask this out of laziness, but since some of you might know this, it will save me a few trips to the hardware store and some frustration too.

I have a hose reel from northern tools that I bought years ago for my pressure washer but never used it really. Now I’d like to adapt it to use it to hold my DI water line … which kinda of adapter should I get ?

I’m using regular 3/8 air hose as my water hose.

Thanks

You’ll probably need a 3/4 to 3/8 reducer fitting. If they don’t have that, try a 3/4 to 1/2 fitting… then you’ll need a 1/2 to 3/8 fitting. If you get too many fittings going on it may cause a problem when you go to roll up. If that’s the case, put two or three feet of hose between the fittings to offset the “bulk”.

Thanks Micah

I might take a look at Northern tools tomorrow and see what’s there.
