@rolandal I would love to see an option for invoicing my customer with paper invoices. In other words I click “send paper” invoice and you guys print it put it in an envelope, stamp it and send it and I pay a buck or two for the service so I don’t have to remember to do it at the end of the day. What do you think?
This is being built as we speak. Should be available early 2016. Pricing will be around $1.99 and will include printing, posting, envelope, and shipping & delivery!
I would say the majority love the time stamp feature. If you don’t want to use it, you don’t have to just don’t clock in/out by clicking start and stop!
You do have click job finished or it won’t clear out the app.
A notification will remain
@rolandal I think you are an entrepreneurial genius. During my pitch meeting with Marshal I was mentally reverse engineering your business model. I got lost counting all the forms of monotization. Using client data as aggregate for app downloads, and a few other things I noticed that I won’t mention in public. You have mad respect coming from “this guy”. All I am saying.
This is great news. I have been trying to go paperless with my office for a while and this was the last piece of the puzzle for me.
You should change your screen name to “Louie the Secrets Guy”
This is all good to hear. It appears the buzz is still hot!
We’ve been using housecall for about 6 months now and I’m really happy with it. It’s been fun keeping up with the on-going improvements
Thank you, but we are a large team that makes this happen, not just myself
We update weekly based upon feedback we get from our customers!
Here comes another compliment from ME.
I’ve mentioned before that I keep a separate, specific calendar that has cities in the titles with the job name.
Monday June 10th
9 a.m. "GOTHAM CITY – Mrs Jones"
11a.m. "METROPOLIS – Crabby’s Seafood"
12 p.m. “METROPOLIS – Robinson Manufacturing”
So, I can glance at WHERE I’m going to be when scheduling/filling in space.
Housecall has this option on their Schedule now.
I really stressed this during my demo, and I’m so happy to see it happening!
Any plans for an iPad app?
They said in another post they are focusing on adding features and bug fixes right now. iPad app will come later- lower priority.
You can use the iPhone app on the iPad just fine. The web portal also works well on iPad.
Yeah, I realize I can do that, but all it is an enlarged version of the iPhone app. Hoping for something with a little more functionality. Like Quickbooks online iPad app has better features than it’s iPhone app. But, in the meantime the web portal works just fine.
I can’t wait for the 2016 season to start up. I have had positive feedback from the clients I’ve used the app with!
Thanks for this. You may not know it, but you just made me realize that
THAT’S probably why I can’t stand the app on my Ipad.
It’s not an actual app for the ipad.
(and you keep quiet, @buzzlightyear)
I use the web version, and like it MUCH better.
@c_wininger is correct! We do have plans for an iPad app, but it probably won’t be released until mid-2016. We have some bigger features that we’re really excited about that we want to get out first!
Great I look forward to it! How hard would it be to implement a way of knowing that we sent a reminder/notification to the client about an appointment? Perhaps, under customer history>estimate sent or schedule notification sent.
It has that option in the email reminders. You can set a reminder to be sent
@Streakerfree we’re actually in the midst of building an activity feed right now, so you’ll be able to see all the actions you or any of the other users on your account have taken, so it will be easier to keep track of who you’ve contacted, when you create or make changes to a job, etc.
