How do I get the Dr. Angle adapter to fit?

I have a cheap pole, nothing fancy. Not sure what I need to make it fit.

Throw them both out and get an ettore or unger extension pole from a window cleaning supplier.

Wouldn’t a wooden cone fit?

I buy all my sticks at lowes/home depot…got my 10 or 12 footer there 4 years ago still works fine. Unger brand I think…or ettore, i don’t know been using them for 15 years no problems.
