If my basic cleaning routine didn’t work, I’d just replace the mesh.
He Man… Whats the trick?
OK, found this out by accident or was in a hurry and just did it without thinking.
Had a kitchen screen that had not been cleaned for quite a long time.
In fact half you could hardly see through it, thick with grease, dust and grass.
Especially where, the window was slightly opened most of the time.
Being in a hurry grabbed the first thing that came to mind.
Which was the scrubber that is normally used for chemicals it had the One Restore on it already.
Got it scrubbed it (both sides), quickly but lightly.
Not to push the mesh out.
Then gave it a normal screen wash using an old scrubber.
Was amazed how it came out.:D:D
Are you guys speaking of wire mesh? As in metal, instead of plastic wire mesh???
If so, I just reached out to a manufacturer of this wire mesh ( Custom Wire Cloth - Belleville Wire Cloth Co - Cedar Grove, NJ )and screen material because I had a similar issue with this material.
I tried everything on my own, but they turned me onto one specific product called “duraclean”. Worked wonders on my stainless steel metal wire cloth mesh.
Check it out, can eb bought in 1 or 5 gallon capacity.
