I’m going to be pulling the trigger on a new WFP soon, and am thinking about the best way to transport it in my Toyota Tacoma work truck, so that it is protected. Up to this point I have just laid my Gardiner SLX 35’ in the bed, but there is the potential for something to be laid on top of it and the clamps damaged or broken.
Any thoughts?
I throw my mini in my back seat of my crew cab. Fits just right.
Lay down my split back seat.
And lay it in.
Putting together a custom roof rack holder as you read…
Wait a minute…
You said truck.

I just lay it down in the back, I take the brush off and coil the hose.
I’ve contemplated making one of those pipe holders out of PVC like the plumbers and electrical guys then mounting it to my ladder rack. But I’ve been looking at purchasing a cap soon for winter and overall security of my equipment, so this ladder rack will be useless when I get the cap.

I use a chevy astro van, lay my pole under my wash it pro that is laying flat. Keeps stuff away from pole. Although it does not really matter untill I upgrade to carbon fiber.

I have all of mine in Black 4" pipe in my van. Very protected and easy to pull out the rear of the van.
If you do anything other than just lay your WFP down in the truck let’s post some pictures…
I’m sure this will do a way better job and maybe we can get some new ideas from others’ set ups
