How far to extend rubber past end of channel?

How far do you have the rubber extending past each end of the channel?
Is this a personal preference thing or is an exact length necessary for proper function?

Thanks!!!

I think it’s pretty much a personal preference. I like mine cut tight to the end, less detailing that way. I actually buy my channels one size larger and cut them down to fit the rubber so I dont have to cut rubber every time I change a blade.

We love the super chanels. We go about 1/8 to a 1/4 just enough to protect the window from the chanel.

I like to cut em really close, 1/8 of an inch or 1/4 inch max. I find that cutting the rubber closer youre less likely to leave trails

1/16" to 1/8" to reduce detailing.

Same here.

Also to protect window frames from scratching from the channels, like CHD said.

It can’t be any fun having the worst owner in sports!

Ugh. I’d rather not talk about it. :frowning:

See you in Westminster, right?
