I like the wagtail for transoms and it seems like the higher the window, the easier it is to use. For example, I can’t use it on like 8’ glass, but at 12’ it rocks.
So I was just curious how high some of you use your wagtail before you bust out the wfp.
If you are having trouble using it on lower glass, I think you may want to use the angle arm in conjunction with the wagtail.
Personally, for storefronts, I like using a zero degree + wagtail angle arm. You can do all the stuff in front of you with just the zero degree, pop on the angle arm and you have a swiveling ledger for transom windows. I love the ledger, but it’s redundant if you have a zero + angle arm.
