About half a cup maybe - 100ml. I use it sometimes when I need to remove old dried stains from the window.

I used ammonia for years and years. Dawn and ammonia. The cheap fuckers that I worked for would never buy GG4.
Ha I hated the smell of it. I guess it was good on greasy places IE: pizza places an what not.
I use GG4 now like Jared says extra soap on greasy places use your blade if need be. If your afraid of the blade you can use your rag to get finger prints , like Jmattern says
I don’t think ammonia will blow out tint I’m sure I washed tint with ammonia in my bucket I don’t recall it , but I don’t think anyone ever Said hey make sure you don’t have ammonia in your water when washing tint .
I mean I used it for years never any problems.
Cost wise I really believe the cost is the same compared to the amount of ammonia you would use to GG4.
I could understand giving someone a gallon of GG 4 am them over using it. , but GG4 is the way to go.
As far as how much a few glugs I was told us you need to smell it in the bucket. I don’t know it’s what I was told 20 years ago

Ha back in the days I actually needed it to wake up once in while :).

No, Josh, you’re not. I got to the point where I’d make my ammonia/water solution so strong people 25’ away were complaining. To this day, it’s still my favorite all-time window cleaning ingredient, but I rarely use it because of the social/health implications and the claim that it ruins stuff 2 seconds before it makes actual contact
To answer your question, Mike, if I were to use ammonia I’d throw about 6-8 oz. (not imperial) and maybe 1-2 oz of soap into a 3 gallon bucket.
I think I’ll try that.
