How much time does using a spray bottle inside a home save you?

Hey everyone,
I just ordered a spray bottle holder. I know there are some of you that use a spray bottle inside homes. Instead of going back and forth to your bucket… How much time have you noticed using a spray bottle saves you? Where to get a good spray bottle? and what size?

I used to use “bottle on a belt” ages ago

like a pint water bottle with the pull top to put solution directly on the strip washer

makes quicker work of those cleaner homes, not for the first time or the strip washer just gets too gunked up

We use the simple green bottles that came with a gallon purchase at HD. We use either flip tops off of some other bottle or a soda bottle cap with a whole punched in it with a Philips screwdriver. We use this both inside and out, each crew of 3 uses 2-3 gallons of solution per day.

I will be using the spray bottle for maintenance cleans. If it can save me 15 or 30 minutes per house I would be excited. I always keep track of how long each house takes me. I will see if it is faster when I get the spray bottle holder in

It had saved us about half an hour per home.

Inside resi maintenance spray bottle directly on the glass. Over spray is not a concern as I wipe down frames anyway. Don’t carry it on my belt. One less thing to bang into gee gaws. Also I use a Wagtail with blue pad. That’s another thread, but I save more then a half hour . Otherwise I use a squirt bottle like everyone else, most times.

Flip top bottles for us as well. It does save time. Let us know how much time it saves you Chad.

We’ve done it this way since I started, in 1999. I’ve never done it any other way so I don’t know how much faster it is.

The spray bottle does work much better ! No worries of water dripping on hardwood floors,No dripping on of water on walls below the windows,Not lugging around a bucket full of water and going back and forth to get your washer wet. Everything adds up and i can say it has saved me a good 30 minutes on a decent size house.

Sprayer is better !.. sends an equal amount of clean water all over the glass… thus enabling great glide for your washer… but also the sprayer wets down dirt and softens it up… especially on Window sills and frames… !!!

Dale your Sprayer will be coming… looked into a few of the Obi Hardware stores here and could not find the one i wanted… i promise i will send it

What about washing the strip washer free of collected dirt? Do you still do that with a spray bottle?

It’s quick to just change the pad on a WT

We wet ours up and then bang it on something like a hammer, this gets most dirt and such out, if its really bad you can spray it out with customers hose.
