After months of serious thought and consideration, the missus and I have decided to renovate our home. We’ve decided to hire a couple of house painters, we sold of some of the furniture (and replace with new ones) and we’re also planning on fixing the garden. We’re not really planning on a complete makeover, just fix up some areas here and there. My wife thought it was a good idea to have frosted windows in our living room. I’m still not too keen on that idea but if anyone of you here has had frosted windows, I’d like to get your opinion on a couple of things:
-is it better to get pre-made frosted windows or artificial alternatives such as Window Frosting spray and film will do?
I have been in a tonsof homes and never saw frosted windows in the living room.
You can change out curtains and blinds but frosted glass is frosted to stay.
The same with the spray on… PERMANENT.
If she has her heart and soul set on it… (and i know how that goes)
i’d go with the film. Then you could see if its REALLY what is wanted in the living room.
Don’t like it? Take it off.
Like it??? THEN go with the REAL frosted glass…
Heck i would spring for the new electric windows that frosts and clears with a flip of a switch.
