How Often For Maintenance

Hey guys, I’ve been really trying to sell my new customers on a maintenance package. What I’ve been asking for is a 6 month maintenance program. Most have happily obliged. We do a professional first cleaning (track vacuuming, frames, sills and glass) and offer about 20 to 25% less for 6 month maintenance cleaning. If you have bidding for maintenance that you think is better, please tell me. My question is this. What time frame should I be trying to sell my maintenance packages for. Sometimes I think 6 months is too long, but I don’t want to be too aggressive and go for every 3 months if it’s just overkill. What kind of maintenance packages do you guys try to set up and what time frame? What do you normally do for maintenance packages? I’m thinking just glass only if it’s 6 months or less.

We have customers that we do monthly exterior cleanings, some quarterly, and one that is every 2 months. I don’t offer a reduction for 6 months. For monthly I charge about half my per pane price. We have about 2 dozen customers on that frequency. I find the monthly customers get so used to clean windows that we also do a few of them in and out at least 2 times a year.

Almost all of mine are every 3 months. I live really close to the beach though, so I do some of them a little different. Some of my customers have me do them quarterly but I only do inside every 6 months, so for example: in and out jan. and june, out only march and sept.
