Let me ask you this; I do windows on a few plaza’s, recently a friend gave me a really good lead, however, I have to place a bid with a construction company. I want to get a good word of mouth out and get one good strong account and continue on from there. My question is this, does anyone have a good bid template or can give me any pointers in regards to submitting a bid? I am not sure as to how. I dont want to leave any room for error. Thanks!!!
Are you seeking a presentation letter/package format, or a means to calculate a price?
Are you looking for a letter head estimate sheet pkg? There are a few people you can get them from if you need ideas? You may need to pay for the package I don’t really remember but they are really effective. Just remember really the best way to land an account or sale is all in the presentation of you. 90% of landing an account will have to deal with if the customer likes or dislikes you and your personality. Ok:) Also, if you don’t get the account no big fuss there’s other people that are out there. Construction co are great accounts to get with because if you’re good at what you do they are usually loyal, unless you get those handfull of people that want the cheapest person doing the job.
Look in the business downloads section of this forum.
If one of your questions are on how to price things too, you may want to ask someone on this forum who is from Florida as well. That way you can have a ball park of what other people charge to you wont low ball yourself or be way too high.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! PRICES and bid formatting ideas is all…
