How to clean?

Just got my first complaint calland it’s that stupid advertising window wrap stuff. How do you guys clean that stuff properly? Wfp is not an option right now. I just used a scrubber and squeegee last time and now the glass is streaky. Of course it is. Any help from someone who does these?

i don’t know what you’re refering to but it sounds like straight pulls might help

Did you remove the wrap or are you trying to clean the wrap?

Use a brush and hose.

Got stuck using a sponge and hucks. It was that vinyl wrap they use for convenience stores. It’s see thru from the inside kinda but the golf ball holes on the outside make it impossible to squeegee.

The pic Doesn’t really show what it is but If you’ve been washing Windows for more than a week you’ve come across it. Stuff just won’t dry without streaks.

I’ll never wash the crap again without bidding it properly.

Actually called perforated adhesive window vinyl…

I would have tried cleaning it with a pole mounted doodle pad with a damp cloth and Sprayway combo. Then just before it dries hit it with a vigorous buffing with a clean microfibre cloth… assuming it is on the inside.

Good job though with the sponge and huck towels.

I just squeegee as per usual, just push a little harder I have a barber shop I do monthly and never have any issues, I used to have it on my car windows too with signage never had a problem, maybe get a sorbo and push a little harder.
You may not get the pressure with a standard channel.

I use these https://shopwindowcleaner.com/unger-microfiber-washing-pad.html

The graphics I deal with are shaped so I have to mop and squeegee around them. Where my mop touches the vinyl, I use the pad to go back and suck out the water.

If they want these cleaned (I’m assuming you’re getting a lot of dust or else you shouldn’t have to clean them) then I’d just spray the pad with sprayaway, and do a quick run over. Shouldn’t take more than 10-15 seconds per.

Never had a problem with them…Mop, squeegee and then quick dry off with
a fluffy microfiber.
