How to fix Window Corrosion in Dual Pane Glass?

Pretty much every house I clean has at least one or more windows that have window corrosion. I would like to add a service to my business for fixing windows with this problem where the moisture seeps in and causes corrosion. I know that The Glass Guru does this procedure but I don’t think they train and sell their product to other people to do the same since that is there business. I want to be able to learn and perform this procedure for my company. Does anyone know where I can learn how to do this procedure and if there are any products out there or does The Glass Guru have a corner on the market?

YouTube - Fog Free Window

just something I found that shows a little detail on how they do it and at the end it shows the little vents used upclose,

If you’re talking about the fogging issue of a blown seal there are a few systems on the market that claim to get good results. It’s really only effective on certain windows. 2 exceptions would be tempered (you can’t drill holes in the glass to introduce the chemicals or the pane will shatter) or if it’s stage 2 corrosion where you can see minerals on the glass. In either case replacement is the only option.

Are there any systems available to window cleaners and if so what are they?

There was one being discussed by Cody in the Stain Removal section of the forum but the link isn’t working for me right now. You might want to check that out. They said it wasn’t super expensive like the other options out there.

I understand that for heat-treated IGUs, the valve is inserted into the frame (rather than through the pane on annealed) to avoid the breakage issue.

I’d be interested to see that done. Do they remove the window to do the repair or are they drilling at an angle behind the window trim?

Its starting to sound like this is a very risky procedure and could result in breaking the glass. Becoming an insurance nightmare!

Valves, drying, washing, rinsing, more drying. Iam getting a head ache.

I looked at the Stain Removal Section, there was only two threads and neither spoke about fogging or any options for treating it. Any idea where I could find that info?
