This will show how to heat a long length of electrical conduit quickly and evenly. </SPAN>
To make the conduit flat. </SPAN>
All you need is a heat gun.

Boy H-Man, that was awesome dude , I think I may try that…You know if you dropped it into a flat of cool water when you were unfinished in cooling it, it would cool much faster.
Say why not show the complete building of the strip washer from this point so I can try making one , eg from start to finish ! I think that was cool … Your a real engineer bud !

Think in earlier videos did show how to put a handle on the flat scrubbing bar.</SPAN>
Unless you mean how to make the handle and the disc as well?</SPAN>
Think when cooling plastic quickly is not good, heard somewhere that it tends to make the plastic brittle.</SPAN>

Test it in the water and see for your self…Put that video here in building the complete tool , or make a new one with all the processes in building it.

Yes Herman, show the whole process. I have an Orbital handle I would like to try and use as well.
Please say what dia conduit you are using. Also does it have to be electric conduit? I have PVC water pipe up the ying yang that I could use.

Not sure I understand. It’s a scrubber right?? Is it cheaper than buying one or does it have some kind of special use??
looks like youve got good skill in plastic fabrication there Herman . if you made a video of you, making say a PVC Tote-bucket or even a PVC bicycle (LOW-RIDER style? ),it would be Very popular on youtube and likely youd get commisions later

Yes it is a scrubbing bar.</SPAN>
Use it just like any other scrubbing bar.</SPAN>
Except this one wets the glass quicker, scrubs better especially at the ends of the scrubber.</SPAN>
Can put a fix handle on it so to use your quick release handle on it. </SPAN>
Or make orbital type handle to put on it so to make it easier to use.</SPAN>
Standard scrubbing sleeves will fit on it as well.</SPAN>
Say it would be cheaper as you can see to make a scrubbing bar like in the video.</SPAN>
This how long to do this in actual time.</SPAN>
Will be making a few videos, showing people how to make the handle it self.</SPAN>
Then the disc, the strap that goes over that to keep it stable.</SPAN>
Also one to show you how everything goes together.:)</SPAN>

Herman have you found any plastic that works well to make these besides the PVC, something with the flex of the PVC but only needs to be cut and mounted to a handle?

Found that using the orange electrical conduit this being 1 ¼ inch OD 1/8 inch wall thickness. </SPAN>
Rated heavy duty conduit.</SPAN>
When flattened have put a slight bow in it so when you push down there is good pressure at the ends.</SPAN>
There is flex in it because it is not a sold piece of plastic.</SPAN>
It is still tubing when flatten it still has two walls which is why it has a spring like affect.</SPAN>
If you had a solid piece of plastic same size it would flop around without any spring.</SPAN>
This is the one that’s being use.</SPAN>
Have not had any problems with this conduit other wise.

Herman, what we have here is PVC electrical conduit which is grey, PVC water pipe which is white, and CPVC water pipe which is cream colored and rated for hot water.
Have you used anything besides conduit?

Dale,</SPAN>
Have had a look at the type of conduit you use in the states.</SPAN>
The only difference is the colour.</SPAN>
Use the heavy duty conduit.</SPAN>
But use the electrical conduit because it has a fire retardant in it.</SPAN>
Think this is why your can heat it with out it catching on fire.</SPAN>
Of cause you can also use smaller sizes for scrubbers that are used on small cut ups etc.</SPAN>

Thanks Herman, I will pick some up and play with this on Monday, my next day off. It interests me because there will be more of the scrubber on the glass. Not just one small strip.

Here is a close up of the disc and strap that goes over it.
This is to give a idea of how it goes on.
Pop rivets come up through the scrubbing bar then the disc.
Noticed that there are small washers on the pop rivets.
This is so the pop rivet does not pull through the disc.
