How would you charge a two story building?

How would change a 2 story building with approximately 600 single pane windows with no screens?

I gave a price to the clients but he chose someone else but I am curious if my price was right.

Exterior only $5.00 /pane. Inside and out $10.00/pane.

The ticket goes up with the more panes (work) involved. I think folks get a little sticker shock when you add up 600 panes of glass. Iā€™m curious what the low ball price was, or if they even found someone to do it cheaper than whatever your price was.
