Hunkering down here in Florida as a Cat 4 hurricane, Ian, makes it way ashore south of Tampa Bay; 1 mph away from a Cat 5 hurricane.
It’s looking like the worst of the storm won’t hit here in St. Petersburg, but 12-15 inches of rain is predicted. That is flood territory with 75+ mph winds if we’re lucky. A couple of years ago we had 90 mph wind gusts from a tropical storm and some flooding.
Hope to have some windows to clean after this monster passes through.
Always tuck some money away for a rainy day they say - it is here!
It looks like my area will dodge the bullet from the highest winds, but not the flooding. Ugh.
