Fell off my stepstool two days ago; able to walk figured all was going to be OK.
After staying on the couch for 24 hours and no improvement went to the hospital.
BROKEN LEG!
6-8 weeks of crutches, no weight on it.
I’m gonna have to get a “real job.”
Even with stepstools, make sure they’re set well! I had one of the front legs in a little bit of mud; leaned a bit to far for a window and it went out from under me.
It didn’t take much.
Sorry to hear it never had a broken bone before but way back in the 60s had some damage in my sciatic and took years to get better
even now my spine looks bad in xrays but prayed for the Lord to help me and shortly thereafter no more pain still no pain and I’m 70 now
can carry ladders climb and lift heavy things.
sorry to hear that to. hope you get better soon. dont get down, figure while your down take some time and think about how to increase revenue. Get Better. Take care.
i personally wont allow my workers to use step stools due to the lack of stability issue, they use beer crates to stand on only ,or short poles as alternative
Statistics show that most ladder accidents happen on 6 foot or smaller step ladders ( probably because they are used more frequently). I had one do the same to me a few weeks back. Didn’t even know what happened it was so fast. I ended up doing a martial arts type roll when I hit the ground:) the first thing I remember thinking was I wonder if my IPhone survived! Didn’t get hurt a bit but it was the sinking of my ladder in the mulch. Lesson learned!!!

Pills around the holidays sound nice, probably more fun if you didn’t truely need them, but what the heck. Little percocet on Christmas morning never hurt anyone
