I need an app on my android that does these things, any ideas?
store customers and their info alphabetically
a section for each customer to keep a record of the work i’ve done for them
be able to select a customer to schedule a job
be able to put in recurring jobs so i don’t have to schedule them each month
That’s all, i don’t need it to make estimates, or contact the customer or handle invoicing, nothing else (i don’t mind if it does these things as long as they don’t clutter up the interface)
HouseCall Pro does all that and more.
Don’t have time to go through all that it does. It was a game changer for me! I think they will let you try it to see if you like it.
I think Housecall Pro has a free version now. But I have heard of people effectively using Google calendar, contacts, gmail, and drive to handle all CRM duties.
I’m also a Housecall Pro fan as well. I was using Google for everything much the same way @c_wininger described and it worked but it required a little more work. Housecall has a customer list, customer history that is attached to their contact info, click on a customer and schedule a new job and set recurring jobs from the job schedule screen. Plus it’s all in one app that has a mobile and web interface. And as an early adopter it’s absolutely worth it at ~$20/mo.
The only thing I have issue with is not having offline functionality with the HCP app as you would with Google.
