Idea for a good toolbox to organize my equipment

I just realized today that I have problems with organization of my equipment. I need a nice toolbox to organize my wfp fittings, channels, tools, etc and was looking for some suggestions.

I dont recall the brand off-hand, but I picked up a 3ft long by about 1.5 ft high and 2 feet in depth black lockable storage box with wheels from Lowes for like $40. It works great and is portable. I also use my old police “war bag” for the smaller stuff. It has held up through the years and is meant for hard use. You can get those from Galls. Heres the link. 5.11 Patrol Ready Gear Bag - BG237 - Galls.com

Ok i just checked and I got it from Home depot not Lowes. Heres the link. Plano Sportsman Trunk - 1819-00 at The Home Depot

Its inexpensive and big- and can be found easily at your Home Depot.

This is one I use
JoBox Sliding Drawer Storage Box — Aluminum Drawers, 4-Drawer Unit, Floor, Model# 1404980 | Truck Box Storage Drawers | Northern Tool + Equipment

Thats looks pretty slick. Expensive though. I bet it works well.

Def not looking to spend Ten Bennys for the box, thinking in the 200 range max.

look for one on craigslist. Seen them as low as $100

For everyday work, I use 2 Unger 6-gallon buckets: 1) to leave by the front door with cotton sill towels, hucks, microfibers, blades, squeegees, and washers and 2) to leave in the van with extra channels (in one of those Unger 25-pack holders), handles, batteries (for cordless Ridgid w/d vac), white pads, scissors, etc.

For WFP work, I use a Stanley 28" Foam Waterproof Toolbox ($30 @ Lowe’s; $35 @ HD) with extra brushes, fittings, wrenches, clamps, tools, PTFE spray, teflon tape, velcro straps, Reach Around accessories, 4-way key, irrigation adapters, and some other crap.

I use the same toolbox model for awning cleaning tools and stuff.

For gutter cleaning, I use a 5-gallon bucket for scoops, gloves, tongs, fish tape, etc.

For hardwater stain chemicals, I use a Rubbermaid Brute container large enough to hold 3 1-gallon jugs of SafeRestore, CC550, and Fields Descaler and various squirt and sparay bottles, gloves, etc. and a janitorial caddy for quart-sized bottles, white pads, and other gear.

This is one of the things I love about this place. So many great ideas and good people willing to share the little details.

+1.
I am horribly disorganized. I’ll get everything looking good and once something is moved it’s absolutely curtains.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

When you answer a question you answer a question. Funny because I just went and got that exact Stanley case. I have a similar setup as far as the every day work is concerned. I cant stand the feeling of not being prepared and feel like we need three of everything, especially since my guys always lose everything. Thanks for the feedback and for reminding me I need a four way key and also need a splitter for multiple pressure washers with one hose bib

If you ever get caught without a four way you can try a 3/4 extension for a ratchet.
