Michael Cornish Business Owner – Bio
Michael Cornish is the founder and co-owner of E-Z Windows, Inc. He has 15 years experience in the window cleaning industry, in particular with planning, leading, and communicating the directions and goals of E-Z Windows Inc. He works closely with the Vice President in directing the management of Marketing and Sales, Financial Control, Training, Quality products, and Field Operations that anticipate the needs of home owners and commercial businesses in the Greater Milwaukee Area. The reason Michael decided to concentrate on starting up his own business was because he loves customer service and the challenges it takes to provide that service and genuinely make people happy.
Making customers happy has always been a driving force for Michael. He started out in the food, beverage, and hospitality industry, working his way up to the position of Regional Trainer for Brinker International (i.e. Chili’s Bar and Grill). He then moved on to a position of Food and Beverage Manager with John Q. Hammonds Hotels. There he met his current business partner who was the Director of Sales. After gaining a thorough grounding in leadership and management skills, Michael decided to try his new skills in the larger market and took a position with Wyndam Hotels and Resorts in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Although he enjoyed that position, he couldn’t ignore his strong entrepreneurial spirit so he decided to open his own business based around the service principles that he had acquired over the years.
Michael Cornish started E-Z WINDOWS INC. in April of 1999. The original idea for Michael was to earn a little “extra” money, on a part time basis. Growing up in Southern California, one of Michael’s first jobs had been window washing. Bringing that experience along with his entrepreneurial spirit to Wisconsin, a new company was founded! Since 1999 E-Z Windows Inc. has grown into a year round, full service window cleaning business with over 1500 clients in the Greater Milwaukee area. While E-Z Windows Inc. specializes in residential window cleaning, our client list also includes award winning local builders, national hotel and restaurant chains. E-Z Windows Inc. has received the “Super Service Award” three years running from Angie’s List, actively participates in the Milwaukee Builders Association, and the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce.
Michael lives in Wauwatosa Wisconsin. When he’s not working, he likes to keep his life mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally sound. He enjoys mountain biking, waterskiing, trap shooting, reading, cribbage, live music, working out at the gym, and travelling.
