I was just going to take a picture of how we store the sectionals in the van for Tony, but I decided to take a video of the whole inside of the van instead with my new HD video camera. We also carry a 32’ extension ladder and 12’ step ladder on the top of the van, which you don’t see.
I’ve been having problems uploading HD videos to You Tube all weekend, I’m slowly figuring it out. Not sure why it recorded the van tour twice in a row, but oh well.

Hey Seth,
Nice camera work on your van tour. Very organized van! You seem to have everything a window washer could possibly need in there. Nice big set of sectionals too.
Of course it looks orderly, because I cleaned it out! My guys are gonna get it tomorrow morning. I found 6 cigarette butts in back, a couple empty soda cans in back, squeegees left in holsters and not in tool boxes, a rubber foot is missing on the Win-Mate easel, and one or two other things that I have a problem with.
The guys were supposed to clean it out at the end of the day on Friday, but they didn’t get back until after 8PM. They usually do a weekly tidying and washing of the van, but I can see they have been getting slack. I think I’m going to print out some check lists to keep in the van so they have no excuses and for the constant reminder.
I’ve saw the van several times and was always impressed. My rig is similar in content but only is a truck. I guess there are advantages both ways. On one hand I like the outdoor space my truck bed gives me but then again I like that Seth can lock his doors and protect his equipment from theft. I have to keep cables running through my sectionals and pressure washer just to make sure.
And to think I started out in a VW Bug with 5 sections a bucket and a couple of squeegees. It’s amazing how little you really need to get started in this business.
I also have 4 sections that I keep on my truck, Mike.
Awesome rig Seth .
I don’t get why having those hose reels set on back, you decided to put the pressure washer in the front. You should try to connect it with the reels in the back, and maybe a flex extension for the muffler to take the gases outside.
When my E-250 “leaves me” I’ll look into a Chevy Express, love it’s lines.
Thanks. The pressure washer is connected to the lower reel in back. We just have to roll the pressure washer a couple feet to the side door so the exhaust goes out and also some of the heat from the engine. I’m also in the process of looking for a used 5x8 or 5x10 trailer to put all the pressure washing gear on. That will free up a lot of space in the van. And I will also be able to switch the trailer back and forth between the van and my truck.
I’m looking at enclosed trailers too, and those can be expensive.
But I have a lot of stuff to buy before that. Sectionals are on the top the list, but they’re expensive too.
I like a van since I smoke and I can take a break every now and then to get a smoke without risk of looking unprofessional. Vice and professionalism made easy
I’m actually going away from a pressure washing trailer for several reasons. One being that it is hard enough to find careful employees without giving them a trailer to tow around. The possibilities for damage are endless in my opinion. Jack knifing, having it come unhooked in traffic, fish tailing, backing over mailboxes, etc… I’ve been using a trailer for several years and I’m ready to set up a van with my PW equip.
I have thought about some of those things, thanks Steve. Definitely things to think about and take into consideration. I’ll probably hold off until the beginning of next season before I make any definitive decisions.
I really don’t want to have a PW set up permanently attached to my truck, but it’s just about the same cost to have 2 PW set ups instead of one set up with an enclosed trailer.
That’s only about 5mph less than the Astro I had a few years ago and it looks like it as more storage space. There are trade offs for everything. I just have to determine if I need that much space or not.
Ive seen a pic of that van before! Nice set up Seth. Carrying around that much stuff can become a job in itself trying to keep organized and clean. Its a great idea top separate the P?W equip. Out of curiosity, how many of those plastic containers did you melt before realizing the exhaust needs to blow outwards? LOL… I hope im not the only one!
