Interior Maintenance

Hey Guys im new to window cleaning. I have a client that wants me clean their interior windows but doesn’t want water since it could be a slipping hazard. It’s a restaurant. Their windows never have much grime or dirt since they’re pretty high up and only require simple maintenance. Right now im doing a microfiber pad and just spraying some glass cleaner on it. any suggestions how to get those interior windows clean without using water?

What you are doing works, also SprayAway on a microfiber is good too. Also there are tools made for interiors, check out WCR tools.

I have always thought about applying a phobic sealant to inside glass. Then using a mild clear ammonia and rubbing/wetting with a swivel applicator. There would only be some water drops left. Finally just wipe dry with a flat swivel using a 100% cotton towel that has been washed with a bleach solution. The bleach wash will remove any left over oil from the cotton. So it will absorb much better. There will be absolutely no puddling. And no expensive microfiber pads either. The chems would be extremely inexpensive too. Only problem is in the winter the inside will develop a film much quicker because of the temperature difference. Same thing will happen in the summer if they have real good AC and the phobic sealant is applied to the outside. You could see a film develop in as little as two weeks. So we do need to be selective in using hydrophobic sealants for this reason.
