IPC Eagle Hydrotube Membrane Replacement

Hi! I’m new to window cleaning and purchased a used IPC Eagle Hydrotube. The TDS was high and I replaced the two filters, TDS is still around 11. I was looking on buying a new RO membrane since this one seems like it’s been used up. Are generic RO membranes going to work? The replacement one is very costly at almost $800.
