sweet, thanks.
Or you could get a refurb. for $49 but have less memory
My friend just got a refurb for $49 and loves it. And if u can get on a shared plan its well worth the money.
I hope to get one in 2 weeks, I can’t wait. Probaly going to go with the 3gs refurb. for $149 because I like the camcorder and extra fast internet speed:)
My Iphone is Truly Amazing
Can’t seem to find the app. Any suggestions?
I’ve read rumor that Verizon will get the iPhone in the last quarter of 2010. I have 2 phones that contracts end in March. Been thinking of getting the iPhone then.
But what about that new Droid phone? My Brother in Law and Father in Law just got it. It’s pretty dang sweet!!
My uncle is a Verizon dealer. He says the rumors are false, as of now. It may happen in the future, like years later, but Apple has no plans of going with verizon anytime soon.
I would say that hinges on who launchs a 4g network first. If Verizon launchs 4g first, I’d think Apple would be talking to Verizon.
The Droid is probably the best smart phone Verizon has ever had. My cousin has one, and I’ve got to handle it some. There are bugs with it though. The camera is awesome, but it’s slow as heck. It’s not an iphone killer - but will possibly keep people from switching networks just to have an iphone.
Thanks for crushing my hopes and dreams, Micah!
Lots of talk about an iPhone coming to Verizon. Google “iphone verizon 2010”. I read recently that it (supposedly) will be a slightly smaller phone.
Any confirmation now would likely slow verizon sales of the droid and other phones. So even IF it were true I doubt verizon would confirm anything.
Of course I have no idea if it will happen, I’d like to get one but not if it means switching to AT&T. I can’t get reception at the home with AT&T.
Keep your Verizon phone - just wait and buy an iSlate.
Since other phones are being discussed on this thread, I have a question: Does anyone have a Blackberry Curve 8900? I spent quite a bit of time this evening researching it. As fun as the iphone is, BB seems to be more in tune with what I want for my business. Any input from experience?
Blackberys are great. I’ve had a few. They’re little tricks to them, ones you wouldn’t even really think of, but then when you find out about them - it makes perfect since.
Like in email, text, or even in the brower, if you press ‘T’, it takes you to the top, ‘B’ for bottom. In text or email ‘R’ takes you to reply, ‘F’ for forward…
My main complaint was I was paying 30 dollars a month for the internet and email service - the internet service for the iphone was the same amount, and it offers so much more ‘useability’ (is that a word?) The iphone gives full internet access, not just mobile web like the blackberrys. Also, the curve I had didn’t have wifi, I’m not sure if any of the verizon BB’s have wifi.
Automatic access to more than 17,000 AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots.
That’s what BBCurve8900 for ATT has. I don’t know if that means it can’t connect to any other networks, home or other.
If you’re looking at a BB with ATT, it’s more then likely going to support Wifi. If the wifi is not secured, you can log on, if it is secured, you’ll have to know the passkey.
If you’re with ATT tho, look at the iphone 3gs. Spend a few minutes with the demo at the store, ask one of the salesmen to show you what it can do. Ask them to show you what the BB can do too.
I jail broke my iphone last month… It made it so much better.
Here are the instructions on how to do it if your interested:

Hey Chris,
The video won’t play? Any problems with it on your end?
windowman
Hmmm yea it looks like it doesn’t want to play back. Google " revision 3 jaill break iPhone" and view the first result. That’s the video… The whole process just takes a few minutes.
That’s pretty cool Chris… What’s your favorite jailbroken app?
I’m wondering if there’s something I ‘need’ that’s worth taking the limited risk… lol.
I just still love my Iphone
Had “RainAlarm” last few days. Works great - lets me know about half hour before it hits!
That’s a cool app , in az it might only sound once a year!! Lol
I can see how good that is elsewhere
