People like us who live in drier, hotter climates need it more - when you are a window cleaner you are also the local weather man. When I told someone yesterday that the rain would start in 25 minutes & last for around 10 - they were amazed.
Just downloaded rain alarm for my droid incredible.
I love my iPhone and now it’s even better with the cloud!
Now I can re-download anything I’ve ever purchased from iTunes for free. itunes list everything I’ve ever bought from iTunes on any device (even if it was a free app) and then shows what I have on my phone and allows me to download anything I don’t currently have anymore.
Very convenient!

That’s what I’ve been wondering? I’ve got something in my phone now and I can download anything I’ve ever purchased. So let’s say I bought some app or song on my very first iPhone years ago, I can now just look on my phone, it will tell me what songs or apps I have ever purchased and then tell me if it’s currently on my phone or not and let me download it again if I want. There are songs that I downloaded on my computer a long time ago and now I can download them onto my phone too without having to sync or hook anything up.
When I read more about the cloud, it said it wasnt out yet… So i don’t know what’s what now. I rarely sync my phone so maybe this isn’t new. Perhaps I have mistakenly thought this was part of the cloud.
I was just downloading some old apps again, and I noticed that the icon is a cloud…so I’m guessing this is part of the cloud software.

Thats what I read as well, but then whats in my phone and why does it have a Cloud logo and act like what they describe the Cloud will do?

Well if its not the iCloud thats on my phone, then why are the cloud images in the above picture from my iphone, look pretty much the same as the iCloud symbol?
I dont know what it is…but I like it

I never bit on the mobile me stuff they always tried to sell me. Glad I passed since iCloud will be free… I think.
Icloud and OS5 will not be released till the fall. Lion comes out in July

I’ve heard that too. But I also hear that it will be free fir a while first to get us all hooked.
Anyone know what the difference between the 4 and 5 will be? I’m due for my upgrade(3gs) and wondering if I should hold out till the 5 is released.
