Does anyone know if the scholorship winners have been chosen yet?:smiley:

Applications are due in the IWCA no later than November 16, 2009. The IWCA Board of Directors will review scholarships in November and applicants will be notified by the end of November 2009

Larry, I read that too on the website, but Has a decision been made already. Its pretty much the end of november, nobody is gonna want to do work on thanksgiving. I bet its already been decided.

We held the submissions open a couple extra days at the request of a couple of people getting their forms in for consideration. We got about 15 submissions, and they are all with the committee right now. We hope to have a note out to the people who will be getting a scolorship by the end of the week, but if you have any questions on that just let me know and I will see what I can find out for you.

I am sorry for the delay in getting the word out on the 2010 Scholarship Winners, we wanted to make sure that we let the winners know before we sent it out to everyone else. So without further ado the 2010 Scholarship winners are:

We do have a few people chosen as back-up’s incase one of these people are now not able to make it to the Convention. If you submitted an application and did not get in, we will still honor the early bird rate for you to get signed up for the Convention we would still love to see you in Reno next month. [FONT=“Georgia”]It will be in Florida, just note sure where yet. We are working on some details at a property right now, but if that falls through we have 2 back-ups ready to go. So right now all I can say is 2011 will be in Florida. We will be set to announce in Reno where we are going for 2011, so stay tuned.
