I’m being lazy and don’t feel like writing a response, . @Jobber could answer it better anyways. If no response I’ll add my two cents later.
i use tcf and qbo.
So they are two different products. Jobber (and other CRMs) handles the day to day operations: scheduling, interactions with customers and employees, helps keep things more organized, etc.
QuickBooks is purely for bookkeeping. You can get by with just QuickBooks in the beginning, and when you grow you can add on a CRM.
Hey Brian! Have you checked out Housecall Pro? We integrate with qbo as well. What features are you looking to get from a software?
I’ve been looking at house call pro
What features are you looking for? For WCR members we offer up to 30% off
Often software is described using incorrect name for its function. I divide them into three categories: accounting, Field service, CRM.
Accounting is as described and QB oh doesn’t excellent job.
Field service, this is more confusing there are many field service programs and many of them describe themselves also as CRM’s but in reality or not. The basic job for field service software is to manage appointments estimates invoicing and more depending on how powerful it is.
CRM’s, customer relationship management is software for keeping track of your customers and maintaining your relationship with them. A good CRM should help keep you keep track of prospects as well as customers help you manage your phone calls scheduled or otherwise emails with her to you email an invoice or just specific emails or bulk emails ,letters basically all aspects of looking after the customer
After much investigation over A two year timeframe I added the customer factor because it was not only a good field service software but was the most comprehensive CRM field service combination
I’ve been using Jobber for a month now, there are some things it does well and others that need improvement.
Pros:
Cons:
ive used Jobber for the past year now and im exploring other options as the cost seems a bit high for our needs and use, could i correspond with you directly for some info?
Is the 30% discount permanent or year one only?
If highly recommend jobber. Great program with great customer service. I will say that if I wasnt using them id be using housecall pro.
Price is locked unless you change features
Hey there guys, thought we would jump in here to help out.
Jobber works with Quickbooks Online. We’re not exactly a competitor as the two applications serve a different purpose. However, there is some overlap.
Jobber is for managing your daily operations. That includes quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and getting paid. You can manage your team and your clients all in one place.
Jobber will sync with Quickbooks so that the invoices, payments and new clients you generate in Jobber are added in Quickbooks. This eliminates double entry. Quickbooks takes over from there, where you can keep track of your books, payroll, taxes, etc.
Ideally using both Jobber and Quickbooks is the way to go. We do have some users who just use Jobber and export reporting to share with their accountant.
If you want to try Jobber, we have a two week free trial and a 15% ongoing discount for WCRA members. Visit this link to learn more: https://getjobber.com/wcra/
