Jobber actually does have support for this kind of scheduling
When creating a Job you can specify Custom Scheduling options that allow for this kind of thing, in addition to almost a limitless number of other possibilities. Check out the screenshot for an example!

Forgive me if this question has already been asked but does jobber send financial info to Quickbooks? If so then I’m saying goodbye to Service CEO online and hello to Jobber.

I signed up for the trial and I’ve only been playing with this for literally 10 minutes and I already see how it blows Service CEO out of the water. I tried TCF trial once and it wasn’t bad but I didn’t like the calendar or layout enough to switch. Jobber is in a whole other league with functionality. I’m going let my office mgr./wife see it and I’m sure we’ll be making the change asap.
One of my main problems with TCF

Is AFTER one signs in
You get to the dashboard where you see how much your company is makeing how much work your company has
And ya look to the top of the dashboard and there is a huge TCF logo above my companies dashboard!
I have no problems with the signing page but I should not have to see the TCF logo above my companies data.
Especially if I am paying for it,
I need a feeling of ownership and the TCF logo on my main page does not do it.
I know it’s small for lots of folks but huge for me.

Anyone trying out Jobber for the first time? Always open to hear feedback and answer any questions you guys might have.
I signed up for Jobber. I’m definitely impressed with the program although I will admit I’ve never had a CRM software before so I don’t have anything to compare to. The learning curve was pretty small and I was able to learn all the basic functions really quick. The program is very intuitive with it’s work flow system of creating a client record all the way to recording the payment. Every day I am finding new things I can do with it and I haven’t even played with the reports yet. Overall I am very satisfied with Jobber and I know it will help me keep my business more organized this year!

Yes, I’m enjoying most of it, but there are a few things preventing me from using it. First, mobile site does not have a calendar view for phones, just the tablet view which is pretty much the regular format… scheduling on the go is impossible without this. Second, no real time google calendar syc, another huge deal breaker for me.
I’d also like to see reminders for customers that are coming up on 6 months, 1 year, etc without service. This way you can give them a buzz, or shoot them a postcard.
There are a bunch of other little things that Jobber is lacking, but they are tolerable and will come with age. But the items mentioned above, for my business, is a huge deal breaker.
Everything else I’ve seen about it is great, easy to add custom fields and keep track of clients.
Strapped for time, I’ve got to jet… but just a few impressions

There is a lot that it can do that some people never find out about. If there is something you are curious about, just send us an email and we will help you out.
Reporting is something that we want to expand a lot more on and are having some work done on it now. Look to see some more improvements to reporting in the future.
