Hey All, Just wanted to share a laugh. Posted this on WCN forum but it’s was filtered because it was funny and there is no funny stuff allowed there. I figure I can get the same valuable info here as there and have some fun in the process.
All work and no play just sucks. Plan on seeing me here alot more.
I don’t always agree with Gary, and I communicate that to him privately (or, to those affected by his public “disciplining.”)
But, let’s be fair – those are the rules over there. My perception is that the majority of that group finds a difference in relevance and interest of subject matter than that of this group (WCR.)
The WCN is not set up with a vBulletin® or phpBB™ format (subforums, etc.) If one likes the rules here (or there), they hang out; if not, they don’t.
Being able to make a choice is great. I try to read just about everything on all the forums where I am a member, but I can pass on those posts/subjects that don’t interest me.
I much prefer the moderation at WCR over WCN or AUWC (though I have seen changes there lately), and much more than at MWCoA.
I think it would have been one thing if it was an actual joke, like knock-knock. This is actually an interesting story about our government and window cleaning. The only thing that made it funny was because it is so ridiculous. I’m beginning to see a resemblance between our govenrnment & WCN. And that’s not funny.

I understand your point Larry. I also agree about the rules I try to always abide by the rules. For instance Gary has made some comments over at AUWC that in my opinion violate the rules by saying things in his post about others that are largely ignored by the mods and if someone reactes to his post they are talked to. Fair? No.
On his own group he likes to flaunt his own rules then split hairs over whether he broke the rules or not. He recently made a statement about someone else that would be construed as “saying something is wrong w/ someone else” (a violation of his rules) and when confronted about it by another poster he siad they were breaking that rule.
I don’t mind following the rules but wouldn’t it be nice is he did too?!
Yeah I would like to post over at the AUWC again… but I feel like I cant because he picks apart everything I say. Just last week he was talking about us after Larry mentioned Mandy.
There was a new AUWC rule stating that Associate members cant speak about each other. I think that’s great but that doesn’t cover Gary because he is a corresponding member. He is still free to talk smack. yuck!
But like Larry said we appeal to different crowds.
