I have been cleaning one KIA dealership for about 3 years. They opened a new dealership about 25 miles away and I just sold them on a monthly cleaning. This account will bring in a annual income of about 5K. I love doing car dealerships. At one time in the early 90’s I had 25 dealerships. The windows are not dirty and very few things in the way.

John why in the world would you tell how much you are charging on a Kia car dealership. Are you just wanting someone with a lower price to take it from you?
He gavea very broad range… Didn’t show an invoice. Plus he’s done work for them in the past… There’s a strange loyalty with window washing, mores then other services from what I understand.

Hello, he lives in Knoxville Tn. There’s 3 kia’s in his area, Two are owned by the same people. All someone needs to know is that the company will spend 5000 a yr. … People don’t give up info on large residual jobs. There are people on here that will take your work. If you don’t believe me keep posting it. If you are proud you landed a good job …post just that. not the price, not what kinda job, and no clues where someone can undercut you.
Thatta boy John. I agree that I probably wouldnt be throwing out prices however, I am certain that he has probably built a personal business relationship with his client here. It would be hard for another window cleaner to walk in and try to undercut him with that 3 year relationship in place.

Lol, not broad as in geographically, broad as in money range. 5000 is very vague. 4,500 - 4,800 - 5,200? Pretty big estimate there.
When you’ve been in the business as long as I have, you know pretty much how much a job is going for. I can walk into just about any place in town and know how much they’re paying for window cleaning just by knowing the area it’s in, the type of business it is, and the condition of the windows.
Window washing is a lot different then pressure washing in this area. Pressure washing prices are all over the place. Window cleaning prices are a lot easier to predict. For instance on Facebook I posted a picture of a commercial business I picked up for window washing. a week or two ago - Brian Welker nailed the price.
Now I’m not saying I’d post the price for each job I did online in a public forum. I know there are lurks (I know who you are by the way (Hi!)). But I don’t fault John for talking about signing a new 5k a year Kia contract.
