Wasn’t I telling you how I was doing windows and someone came up to me talking about Keith and this kid came up and said he was gonna start a window cleaning business on top of his landscaping… Great.
He must be doing something right. Eye roll all you want but the guy is successful.

So what. His first business didn’t take off and he went on to a new business idea and it’s worked out well for him. I’m sure he’s not the first person to have done that. And buy the way it’s $500 a day not $500/hr
The negativity here really starts to get wearisome after awhile. I’m finding there’s very few people here whose thinking motivates me. There’s only one reason to be negative - pushing others down to elevate self.
I dont think anyone here would say these things to Keith’s face, so it’s cowardly.
@chris, this site has been helpful to me over the years, but recently i find its just a lot of nonsense. I admit, i have contributed to this by posting the napoleon dynamite video, so i apologize for that.
However, where did the true professionals go like Kevin from Paneless Perfecton?

I’ve noticed that many of the guys that i used to log on to read don’t comment much anymore. Maybe they are on the WCRA section? I think that is what i need to join.
Chris, this site still is helping me by allowing me to come in touch with newer pros like @henry, and @luke3636,who are out to help but i think I’ll be posting a lot less from now on.
Btw, i have no connections to Keith and only recently looked at his online presence but i found him to be a sincere individual and a smart business person who happens to clean windows.

Seeing that Keith K. worked in the fitness industry prior to his current gig does not surprise me one bit. Fitness sales and marketing is all about helping people feel positive about themselves and their decisions. Say what you want about the man, but his YouTube personality is a good part of what galvanized me to get back into the window business.
I also wish he would join and post on WCR, but not so as to deride him. Rather, I would love to see him share freely of his (admittedly short but generally positive) experience and have a bigger share in assisting neophyte window cleaners while they develop, just as the senior members here have done for so long.

I agree. We all have our own way. And I think that if anybody talked to kieth would see that he is a really nice guy. I spoke with him about a month ago. He wanted to do a little shout to our channel and wanted to ask first.we spoke on the phone for about an hour, real positive and energetic guy. I really respected that. I’ll be honest I wasn’t a huge fan of his before but pointless bashing or negative comments won’t get any of us anywhere.

I never said Keith Kalfas wasn’t successful. I’ve never called him a dishonest. To be honest, the guy is obviously doing something right. He has a gift In front of a camera. He would be someone to listen to about social media promotion especially if you were interested in YouTube.
From what @Chris stated I would have to agree, he is probably a great guy to hang out, tell jokes, and grab a beer with.
I don’t know anything about his landscaping/window cleaning business and could really care less.
The only thing I have been consistant about Keith Kalfas is the honest assessment of his advice regarding starting, operating, and performing the task of a window cleaning business.
If I were to start “Kyle’s Window Cleaning Channel” today… And willingly put out information on what I think selling, operating and doing professional window cleaning is… One of the obvious expected responses is people checking my credibility, my techniques, my advice. There was once a guy named Tony Evans on this board that couldn’t understand that concept and he is alienated to a large degree from the industry now.
I have been around long enough that I don’t have too much patience for gurus in the window cleaning/ powerwashing industry. IMO they insult the effort that legit guys put into this industry to help all of us.
But I will end on this…@one76… This thread wasn’t bashing Kalfas… I would just pointing out how he was going by a different name a few years ago

Like its been said many times over in this thread and many others, I think everyone has some good, bad or otherwise ideas to add to a topic. Take what you want from each experience and apply it and then in return share what you have learned, just maybe it will help someone now or in the future.
I hope you dont move on from the forum you seem like a good guy! There are many people from the past that are missed around here. But there are is some new blood also that isn’t to shabby!

Kevin Dubrosky said goodbye about 5 different times… Even insulting the intellegence of Window cleaners on his way out a few times… But he still keeps coming back… Kinda like herpes

You must not be on forums much… Cause I would say the last 12 months have been the least amount of drama I have seen on window cleaning and powerwashing forums since 2009ish. If you think criticism and difference in opinions is negative then maybe You’re in the wrong place. I personally love cristism, debate, and open opinions. It allows me to honesty look at what I am doing and it allows me to discern properly the information others are putting out there as well.
