I guess if people are ready to ante up and take a super duper risk then sure go ahead and do it, but if one was working for me and I saw them doing that I’d stop them and re-train them on safety and proper ladder work especially if they had access to sectionals. Because those would be the proper ladders to use in the photo you posted !
Sectional were design for window cleaners and another name for them is window cleaner ladders !
Sure you might get away with doing the ladder on the glass but it’s very unprofessional, unsafe, and you put the customers property at risk.
One of a cleaners jobs is to solve problems and cutting corners and taking unrealistic risks isn’t JOURNEYMEN class but rookie-esq !
I’m sure there is always a solution to every problem, experience and knowledge is a thumbs up pattern…Taking what we think is the easy way out can just lead to bigger problems.
This bay of windows is work for sectionals that’s the window cleaners way or a taller extension as a stand-by !
Dange / Showing the RANGE instead of Dangerous RISKS
I agree with you Dange, im not doing that again. Wfp would be great too I just can’t justify spending that kind of money for the jobs I have- wfp or sectionals. Most of the windows are accessible with ladders or a couple here and there with a pole. Maybe im just not big time yet
