Ladder leveler or pivot tool

I bought the pivot tool and really like it. Helps out so much didnt mind the 100 bucks it cost. But since my guys lost it somewhere… I was wondering how the ladder leveler is.

Are they quick connect or do they just stay on?

BTW next time it comes out of there check.

Tasty -Dude…

Ladder levelers work great and the level lock are made to un-attach ! I’d just leave them on and install them on permanently !

other complain about the extra weight but really its not that big of an issue.

These work great, i use these exclusively…

These work good also, and you can buy them here…

Thanks Dangerous i’ll get some and leave them on. Won’t have to worry then.

Dangerous Dave

While I agree with that statement-- it wasn’t me.

We use both, the 28 footer has the Werner ladder levelers, which are permanent mount. We rarely use the 28 inside, and it is often used outside and since we are in the mountains, it is safer and faster using the auto levelers on that ladder. The others are bare right now, mostly because they are often used indoors and we would only need the Pivot on staircases. So the rarity that we need leveling on the smaller ladders outside, that we were not already using the 28, hasn’t merited adding levelers to them.

Love the levelers and the pivot, both are worth every penny.

love the levelors too, both my 28 and 20 have them attached.

Sharen-Girl…

Good for you, I’m sure your in the ranks of “The Daughters of Ettore” seeing that you see the sense and the safe aspect of the levelers. Keep moving ahead and the knowledge you pass down will be heaven for those with ears to hear !

Even a pivot tool will work, it’s better then no way to level your ladders, it just seems like extra baggage to me but if it works it better than nothing !

I like quick access and minimal effort to help with time and space !

Say Sharen have you or are you using a natural sea-sponge ?

Ladder levelers are on all our ladders, we use the pivot for stairwells.

We use the Pivit Tool - <img src=“http://www.shopwindowcleaner.com/affiliate/accounts/default1/banners/pivit tool.jpg” alt=“” title=“” /> for at least 3 reasons. 1) it is the sturdiest leveler I’ve ever been on and 2) we rent larger ladders and they have no levelers attached so this way I have one always ready and 3) I don’t need several levelers w/ just one Pivit tool.

LeveLoks are standard on all of our extension ladders at ACWC.

They do add some weight but they will last a while and they could be a life saver.

Thanks

We use levelers on all of our extension ladders and I carry around a pivot just in case. It is extremely helpful and sturdy(like tony said). I love to use it as an easel on my step ladder for storms too.
