Alex, I was thinking that the Slayer will use standard style rubber blades. So it uses Soren style rubber? Is the bead more like a “T” instead of round like standard rubber?

At any rate, I look forward to trying the Slayer channels. Will there be Slayer handles made specifically for the Slayer channels?

When will the Slayer be available?

It will fit soren and LFI rubber… Sorbo to…

It will be available between 4/15 - 4/20

There are a few different handles that will fit it.

Way to go WCR! One question is the LFI soft or hard rubber or both?

It is hard.

Well it will work for me for a couple of months out of the year then. Any soft rubber coming for the Slayer?

Soren rubber… is medium just like all other ettore rubbers.

I think LFI is the rubber that Craig Aldrich used to talk about. Back then it was only available from a dealer in California. I never tried it but Craig and some others had good things to say about it.

I’ll be getting a dozen of the LFI 18" when I place my order with WCR this week.

I can atest to the LFI being hard - I tried it a couple of months ago & didn’t have much fun with it. Now its getting warmer, I’ll give it another shot.

If it’s really that hard I guess I’ll just use it in the Summer months. I use Soren but it’s more expensive than most rubber.

I was hoping the Slayer would use standard rubber so I could just buy the regular Ettore rubber which is cheaper than Soren.

Not really a big deal though in the big picture. Even the most expensive rubber is a cheap cost compared to tools, supplies, equipment, etc. in other businesses.
