I am now a believer in what I have learned on these forums. Don’t sell yourself short, period. Just scored a monthly contract on a local branch of very well known national chain. The guy brought out a bid from Fish for $22 a clean - 2x monthly, our bid without seeing Fish’s was $47 per clean - 1x monthly. They chose us! This proves that quality and a job well done - sells and matters!!
Thats good to hear, Congrats keep at it.
nice score.
Congrats! Feels good doesn’t it? Was Fish already cleaning the business?

Love the logo. When I see it, I think “fun” “competent” “adventurous”
If you are not having fun, you’re not happy. If you’re not happy, the customer is less likely to be happy - no matter how good the job was done.
When customers see my dancing to a beat when I’m cleaning windows and the windows come out amazing, I think that leads them to believe that I do a better job when I’m having fun.
That’s also why I think people will go on a Dunkin’s run for me. Twice yesterday.
Birds Beware also has this fun mojo going on big time. Definitely some cool logos and ideas lately.
Feels awesome! This location is under relatively new management from what I have gathered - so their windows have not been done right in several months. The manager did state that fish has been doing one of the other locations he was previously at, but he didn’t comment at all about the quality of the work or why he chose my company vs. them. I plan on giving some “high shine” and am hoping this opens the door to servicing more of this chains branches in the area
Thanks for the compliment!
I agree with the fun factor, personally I would rather hire someone for a couple more bucks that does “happy quality” vs “crappy quality”
One of the main reasons I went with a different name and logo was the idea that if I named my company something typical such as “shining windows” or “all clear glass” and had the standard window and squeegee logo I wouldn’t stand out. I wanted something where if someone saw my logo - they could pick it out if I mixed it into a batch of 100 other window cleaners logos. In my opinion my logo is my “employment” cover letter, and I want mine to generate enough interest or intrigue to put it at the top of the stack. (Logo was also inspired by my 3 year olds love of monkeys, so it adds a story to tell my clients about the company - they love it!)
