lol… I just saw that in me email today too. I was gonna post it but you beat me to it.
They should be on sale. Little Giant now has the same size ladders that weigh 20% less. That’s 8 lbs less weight in the 17ft size.
That’s a smoking deal! I’m in. I’m going to the Del Mar fair on Friday and they sell them there on sale for $459.00 for the same ladder. And yeah the ones that weigh less are nice (I have one) but believe me those heavier ones are built like tanks, last FOREVER, and you can’t beat the peace of mind you have 20 feet up in the air on a ladder like that.
What was the price?
Just read the thread today 6-19-13, and checked link and price was $350, is it still the same?
Don’t remember the price now. But it was a lot less than $350.
Oh they are to heavy because I have girly arms! Kidding, I lug around a 26’ all the time and they ain’t that heavy, snatch up the old model at a smoking deal and build some muscle while you work! Best thing I every purchased as I HATE standing on top of my ladder to reach that hard to reach lite bulb 16’ off the floor…weight brings piece of mind IMHO.
