Thanks for the reminder @luke3636.
No its streaming from our youtube channel Luke the window cleaner
Good show!
Luke, what up. I respect the fact you decided to go with window cleaning resource despite what other people say. I hope to be like you when I grow up. Lol. I feel you on the problem with your arm, according to ya sweetie. I had surgery to my main squeegee hand (which is right handed) and I couldn’t use it for a whole
8 months. Luckily I learned to use both hands from using the genie chair. What works for some people doesn’t work for everyone. Wagtail for instance. Being the fact that I had surgery I’ve been using Wagtail since 98. He’s a squeegee God. I dying have a problem with his tools. He laid and gave the foundation for swivel tools and I’m quite nasty with them. Guess that’s why they don’t let it compete in the medleys for window cleaning, it’s unfair. Lol
Hey Guys, good show. I was starting a new contract and hadn’t taken into account daylight saving times kicking in so what I had expected to be 9.00am our time was actually 10.00am. Chewed my phone plan data out in about 20minutes so had to check out.
Question: Have watched the full broadcast now but does it not save all the live comments? There were a few questions raised which were really interesting but YT seems to only be displaying 1 dozen or so…
Reanna mentioned that she likes the Liquidator Handle but they are somewhat fragile. I have two. Broke one but dismantled it and fixed it. How does she like using the Excelerator as a fixed handle (set at 25 degrees of course). The other thing i’d note is that Wagtail handles straightened to 25 degrees goes a long way to sorting out hand and wrist pain but I also feel the slight resistance on the pivot, forcing you to use more wrist action doesn’t help either.
Ya I don’t think it will re-upload all of the live comments
Hey, I don’t use the excelerator as a fixed handle, I’ve also stopped using the liquidator completely. Not worth the headache to keep anymore.
What I meant was. Have you tried it as a fixed handle? My fav angle in hand is 25°. Respect your stance on Liquidator BUT take the clips off a 14" or 18" channel and have a play with them as a standard channel. You may be pleasantly surprised.
I think it was last week I did some work with the excelerator in the 45 angle as a fixed hand tool. I really liked it .
But as reanna is saying the liquidator handle has broken I think 4 times now. Have been pretty disappointed with this
Yep, hear ya. I personally don’t rate it as it’s manufactured. You may recall I ripped out the pivot screws and epoxied it solid and then set the zero/40 to 25° and epoxied that as well. It now houses a bare 18" Liquidator channel for in hand work on larger commercial and storefront. For the record it was never produced as the ‘Liquidator’ handle. It had been on the market for quite some time prior to Liquidator Channel release. I personally like their bi-component fixed handle, particularly with 12 & 14" channels where balance is almost perfect. …And as I said above if you and reanna aren’t getting on with the channels take the clips off and give it a go. The overall balance will be better than the added weight that Ettore brass or SS will give.
